ANNOUNCEMENT

Brothers,

On behalf of the Executive Council of the Phi Delta Chi Fraternity, I write to you today to make an exciting announcement.  Effective April 1, 2009, Phi Delta Chi has retained Jorwalk Management, a management company owned by Phi Delta Chi Brother Kenny Walkup, to manage the day-to-day operations of the fraternity.  Kenny will assume the duties of Executive Director as described in the Phi Delta Chi Constitution.

Kenny is a 1992 graduate of Ohio Northern University where he was initiated into the Alpha Upsilon chapter in 1987.  Kenny has served Phi Delta Chi in numerous positions at the chapter, region and national level, including Grand Vice President for Alumni and Collegiate Affairs.  After working for eight years as a pharmacist in a regional chain pharmacy, Kenny began a new career in pharmacy ownership.  In 1999 Kenny opened South Lyon Family Pharmacy in South Lyon, MI.  In 2002 he opened Specialty Medicine Compounding Pharmacy.  In 2008, Kenny founded S & P Online, a specialty web service for compounding pharmacy.

Kenny is a member of the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists where he serves on the organization's Foundation Board.  He is also a member of the Michigan Pharmacists Association.  Locally he has served as president of the Community Support Team, an organization supporting in need families and in various positions at the First United Methodist Church in South Lyon.

After a brief transition period the fraternity's national office will be moved to South Lyon, MI.  Until that time Brooke Greene will continue in her role managing the day-to-day operations of the fraternity.  We will notify you when the transition to the new office occurs.  Until that time please continue to send correspondence to the current address in Georgia.  The phone number will remain unchanged throughout the transition period and at the new location.  We hope to make the transition period as transparent to everyone.

Kenny began his official duties as Executive Director on April 1 and represent the fraternity at the APhA meeting in San Antonio.  If you will be at the APhA meeting please stop by the Phi Delta Chi booth or Phi Delta Chi reception and welcome him.  Before Kenny's appointment as the new Executive Director, Michael Mohundro (Beta Beta) has been serving our fraternity as Interim Executive Director from January 1, 2009 - March 31, 2009.  We thank him for his service and contribution to our fraternity. Brother Mohundro will continue to serve our fraternity with Grand Council Planning.

I would  also like to express my personal thanks to Fraternal Management Group (FMG) with Tony Chaffee, Sean and Brooke Greene for their service and contributions to the fraternity.

Fraternally,

Song You
Grand President
