About This Officer: Michael Mohundro

Michael Mohundro was born in New Jersey and grew up everywhere being part of an Exxon family.  However, he calls Baton Rouge, Louisiana home having earned two Bachelor of Science degrees from Louisiana State University, one in psychology and the other in microbiology.  He often jokes that if someone gets an infection, he can make them feel really good about it.  Michael received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe (previously Northeast Louisiana) College of Pharmacy.  He went on to complete a primary care residency at the University of Mississippi Medical center.  Michael is currently the Director of Pharmacy at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, the largest hospital in Louisiana.

Michael is an alumnus of the Phi Delta Chi Beta Beta Chapter where he served as the Worthy Vice Counselor, as well as, the Worthy Chief Counselor.   On the National Scene, Brother Mohundro was elected as the Grand Vice President for Student Affairs at the 63rd Grand Council.  During his term, he was responsible for converting the paper based Dale W. Doerr Achievement Award Program to the electronic email submission forms that Chapters know today.  He also served on the Grand Council Planning Committee for the 65th (San Antonio) and  the 67th  (Phoenix) Grand Councils.

Dr. Mohundro recently married Brice Ann Labruzzo, an Alpha Tau Alumnus, in Cabo San Lucas.   In his spare time Dr. Mohundro enjoys traveling with his wife, playing trivia, watching movies, and spending time with their two kittens, Dora and Dixie, who entertain nightly at Casa Mojo.
