GRAND PAST PRESIDENT

About This Office

The office of the Grand Past President is occupied by the retiring Grand President until that person’s successor shall qualify. The Grand Past President shall provide counsel and assistance to the Grand President and other Fraternity officers and represent the Fraternity on the Board of Directors of the Pharmacy Leadership & Education Institute.

About This Officer: Song You

After high school graduation, Song went to Pennsylvania State University with Accelerated Premed (AP) major with education and finance as minor focuses of his study. After year at Pennsylvania State University, Song changed his major to pharmacy and went to Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences in Boston, Massachusetts.

In his first year at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy (MCP), Song was initiated into Eta Chapter of the Phi Delta Chi with 14 other brothers with vast diverse backgrounds. After fulfilling his duties at the Eta Chapter, Song attended numerous Eastern Regional Conferences and Leader Development Seminars. Nationally, Song’s attendance at the Grand Councils include:

’05 San Antonio

Song has served the fraternity as the Eastern Regional Director for Collegiate Affairs and as Grand Vice President for Communications before being elected as the Grand President at the Grand Council of San Antonio in 2005.

Song’s interests/hobbies include travel, photography, and Phi Delta Chi.

Currently Song is working as a pharmacy manager at a high volume Walgreens pharmacy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
